This is a color lithograph of a bullfight. Having done many crayon sketches of the subject, the artist chose to produce a lithograph which was modeled after one of his most successful drawings. Here, with a few colors in fine unbroken lines, Picasso has managed to evoke the movement, the excitement and the temper of the Spanish bull ring.
